    Kohei has experience in advising global and local firms on capital raising, acquisition, and investment. He has successfully executed more than 35 deals worth more than 30 billion USD in 5 regions (Asia, US, Europe, Middle East, and Africa) across sectors.

    He started his career at Morgan Stanley and later joined Shurook, a private equity investment subdivision of the Office of the Quartet, led by Tony Blaire, covering investments in banking and clean-tech sectors in the Middle East. He graduated from a boarding school in Pennsylvania, US, and graduated from Tsukuba University in Japan. He enjoys traveling and flying planes.

  • Satoshi NakagawaDirector of Insights & Strategic Planning

    Satoshi Nakagawa is an expert in macroeconomic analysis, country risk assessment, and corporate credit evaluation, with a strong focus on emerging markets. Beyond research and analysis, he has been actively engaged in the development of Asia’s international institutions, including serving as Chairman of the Association of Credit Rating Agencies in Asia (ACRAA). He is also a part-time lecturer at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo.

    He holds an M.Phil. in Development Studies (Distinction) from the University of Cambridge. Previously, he has developed his career at Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), Japan’s Ministry of Finance (Regional Financial Cooperation Division), the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) in Singapore, Japan Credit Rating Agency, and the International House of Japan/Asia Pacific Initiative, a Tokyo-based independent think tank.

  • Takashi SudoProgram Manager

    Takashi Sudo is a project management professional with extensive experience in Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects. He has been involved in initiatives such as grant aid, technical cooperation, local government capacity building, and industry-academia collaboration. Drawing on his background in the manufacturing sector, he has provided hands-on support to overseas companies and facilitated business matching with Japanese companies to promote cross-border collaboration.
    He holds a bachelor’s degree from Waseda University and has built his career at TDK Corporation, Faurecia Japan, Japan International Cooperation System (JICS), PADECO Co., Ltd., and Ipsos, a global market research firm.

  • Satoshi AraiAdministration Manager​

    Graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University. Prior to his current role, he held positions at Mizuho Trust & Banking (formerly Yasuda Trust & Banking), Trust & Custody Services Bank, Credit Suisse Securities (Japan), State Street Trust & Banking, and LGT Wealth Management Trust.
    With extensive experience in both Japanese and global financial institutions, he has been engaged in a wide range of functions, including corporate planning, fiduciary operations, system projects, business promotion, new business setup (Private Banking Service by Trust Company Structure), pension fund management, as well as trust asset management and accounting. He specializes in investment securities administration and the enhancement of financial operations process.

    He has 10 years of experience as a financial expert in East Africa’s largest banks KCB Bank and Equity Bank. At Equity Bank, he made achievement in the field of Agency Banking by pioneering financial inclusion through use of mobile and POS terminals. He also has experience working at the Kenya National Highways Authority Corporation. He has Bachelors of Commerce in Marketing and Management from the University of Mount Kenya and a Diploma in Business Administration from the British Association of Business Executives.     Kamil obtained a degree in Global Studies and International Relations from Addis Ababa New Generation University in Ethiopia. He has been working in Djibouti and Japan expert in the fields of international logistics, maritime affairs, and supply chain of multinational corporations. He came to Japan as a Fellow of Awaji Youth Federation and served as an International Relations and Project Officer at Pasona Co., Ltd.

  • Frank AcheampongAnalyst

    Frank acquired MBA in Finance at Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan, and BSc. in Business Administration (Marketing) through a joint program between Arctic University of Norway and University of Ghana. He has gained experience in international trade, finance, and business development within commodity trading and banking industries while working at both Itochu Corporation and Access Bank Limited.

  • Takayuki MatsuoLegal Advisor

    Takayuki is a Partner at MM&N (Momo-o, Matsuo &Namba). He has expertise in emerging markets’ legal framework, and has experiences in information/ intelligence related laws (including AI). He is the author of several books and university textbooks, including “AI/HR Technology Related – Legal Practice on Personal Management & Labor Related Information Management”.
    He graduated from Tokyo University Faculty of Law, Harvard University Law School, and Pekin University Law School.
