5 start-ups, Sokowatch, Kwara, Cinch Markets, Amitruck, and ZanaAfrica showcased their disruptive businesses during the 1st Demo Day of the NINJA Accelerator in Kenya, concluding the 1st cohort of the Japanese-led acceleration program powered by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and implemented by Double Feather Partners, Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support, Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory, and GrowthAfrica. The program also revealed new details about its next cohort.
The “NINJA Accelerator in Kenya” – powered by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in partnership with Double Feather Partners (DFP), Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support (DTVS), Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory (DTFA) and GrowthAfrica – kicked off today with a virtual event hosted in Nairobi, highlighting five high-potential Kenyan ventures, a tailored but intensive program, as well as a chance to take part in an international experience from Nairobi to Tokyo, and now Silicon Valley.
