DFP Designated as a Co-Creation Partner for TICAD9

DFP has been officially designated by Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a “Co-Creation Partner” for the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) in 2025. 

TICAD is an international summit focused on Africa’s development. Since 1993, it has been organized by the Government of Japan in collaboration with the United Nations, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the World Bank, and the African Union Commission (AUC). The 9th edition of the conference, TICAD9, will be held in Yokohama from August 20 to 22, 2025. 

DFP has contributed to Africa’s development by supporting Japanese companies entering African markets and investing in and assisting African startups. During TICAD9, DFP will organize a seminar and engage in various initiatives to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders.
