Fintech led on both deal count (7 deals) and volume($70.7M), driven by MNT-HALAN ($41.3M) and Lucky ($23M) in Egypt.Early-stage activity accounted for 14 of 22 deals at Seed or Pre-Seedstage, but contributed to only 10% of the deal volume

Cumulatively, from January to April 2026, a total of 27 deals were recorded. April 2026 is about capability and survival — smaller, targeted acquisitions of AI tools, engineering teams, and niche infrastructure.
